GALATASARAY fans drowned out the TNT Sports commentators with a hostile atmosphere during their side’s thrilling 3-3 draw with Manchester United in the Champions League.

The Turkish giants were looking to do the double over the Red Devils following a 3-2 win at Old Trafford last month.

And while they came up just short of a win, they took a big step towards qualifying for the knockout stages with a breathtaking draw.

The sense of occasion was audible inside Rams Park when the players stepped out onto the pitch – which had been soaked due to extreme weather earlier in the day.

The Galatasaray fans welcomed Man Utd with a “Welcome to Hell” banner before the game.

And such was the level of noise made by the crowd when the player came out, TNT Sports commentators Darren Fletcher, Robbie Savage and Rio Ferdinand could barely be heard on the broadcast.

Yet some football fans were quick to joke they were enjoying the coverage.

One said: “The Galatasaray crowd doing everything they can to drown out Robbie Savage’s commentary.”

Another added: “Nice of the Galatasaray fans to boo every time Robbie Savage speaks.”

A third replied: “Galatasaray [fans] humbled the commentary quickly 😂😂😂.”

While a fourth responded: “Can you offer a no commentary, just listen to the crowd option?”

And a fifth said: “‘Welcome to Hell’. Absolutely spot on. And that’s just Robbie Savage on commentary.”

Man Utd took control of the game inside the opening 20 minutes when an Alejandro Garnacho goal was added to by a Bruno Fernandes stunner.

But the visitor’s 2-0 lead was halved before the half-hour mark thanks to a Hakim Ziyech free-kick.

Scott McTominay restored Man Utd’s two-goal cushion, before an Andre Onana howler saw another Ziyech free-kick find the back of the net.

And substitute Muhammed Kerem Akturkoglu then levelled things up with 19 minutes remaining as Ten Hag’s hopes of progressing in the Champions League suffered a massive blow.
