Gareth Southgate’s former England No2 SACKED by Japanese side after just four months as forgotten Leeds ace takes charge

GARETH SOUTHGATE’S former England assistant Steve Holland has been sacked by Japanese side Yokohama F. Marinos.

Holland landed the shock role just four months ago and won just one of his 11 games in charge.

The experienced coach’s nightmare reign has seen the club fall to 19th in the J League.

Former Leeds man Patrick Kisnorbo will replace him on an interim basis.
