FORMER GRAND NATIONAL winner Graham Lee is in intensive care after a terrifying fall on Friday.
The 47-year-old was in action at Newcastle Racecourse when the sickening incident occurred.

PAThe Irishman was injured when he was unseated as his horse Ben Moacdui left the stalls.
He was instantly rushed straight to hospital and was kept overnight.
Now Lee will undergo further tests today to assess the full extent of the damage he suffered.
The Injured Jockeys Fund have just confirmed the news with a statement this morning for concerned horseracing fans.
It read: “He was taken by ambulance to the Royal Victoria Infirmary in Newcastle, where he is in intensive care with a neck injury.
“He will undergo further tests today to assess the extent of the injury.”
Lee has rode over 1,000 winners over the jumps.
And that includes Amberleigh House for trainer Ginger McCain back in the 2004 Grand National.
Lee then switched to riding on the Flat in 2012.
And he enjoyed further success after that change, winning the Gold Cup at Ascot three years later with Trip To Paris.
Lee, who lives in Bedale, North Yorkshire, with his wife and their daughter and son, hails from a sporting family.
His grandfather, Matthew Lee, was a professional footballer for Scottish club Kilmarnock.
And his brother, Malcolm Lee, was also a Flat jockey as well as his cousin Dean Mernagh.
