‘Gutted’ Ebanie Bridges posts emotional message to fans after being battered by Miyo Yoshida in shock world title loss

EBANIE BRIDGES revealed she was “gutted” following her loss to Miyo Yoshida last night.

The Aussie glamour girl lost by unanimous decision after a dominant fight by Yoshida.

Yoshida, 35, was drafted in at the last minute after Bridges’ prospective opponent, Avril Mathie, pulled out of the fight.

The loss saw Bridges lose her IBF Bantamweight world title belt at the Chase Centre in San Francisco.

Bridges and Yoshida were on the undercard of the bout between Devin Haney and Regis Prograis.

Despite Yoshida’s veteran status and her jumping in at the last minute she was dominant in the fight and battered Bridges throughout.

The judges scored her a unanimous victory with two scores of 99-91 and one of 97-93.

Bridges struggled to ever get going during the bout and was consistently on the end of Yoshida’s powerful right hand.

Statistics afterwards showed that Yoshida landed 122 punches to the Blonde Bombers’ 66
