THE young driver who smashed into the car carrying Harry Kane’s children will likely escape with a measly fine – of just £100.

The 20-year-old woman caused the three-car pile-up, terrifying the  England captain’s kids by ignoring their right-of-way.

Louise, three, Vivienne, five, and Ivy, seven, were taken to hospital as a precaution following the crash on Monday afternoon near Schaftlarn.

Striker Kane was not in the car, having landed back in the UK for Bayern Munich’s 2-2 Champions League quarter-final first leg against Arsenal on Tuesday.

The youngsters, who Kane, 30, shares with wife Katie Goodland, 31, were travelling in his £100,000 Mercedes when a Renault smashed into them.

Kate and their youngest child Henry, seven months, were also not in the car.

Under German law traffic cops could charge the motorist with “negligent assault” and if anyone was injured she could face up to three years behind bars.

But officers are already said to be looking at the “lucky escape” as an accident – meaning the smash-driver could escape with a fine of just £100, despite nine people being involved.

The smash set off airbags in the Mercedes Vito, understood to have been driven by the family’s nanny – a local familiar with German roads.

A source told The Sun: “It was clearly the Renault that caused the crash. Harry Kane’s Mercedes had right-of-way and the other driver has cut across the van.

“It doesn’t bear thinking about what might have happened if she had been going any faster.

“If anyone was injured the driver could be prosecuted for negligent assault.

“But incredibly, everyone was unharmed – so she will likely just get a fixed penalty notice and claims against her insurance.

“She must have been stunned when she found out she smashed into the Bayern star’s car.”

Information about the case has been restricted to high-level clearance among local cops because Kane is a prominent figure.

In an update yesterday, ex-Spurs star Kane reassured his children were “fine”.

A spokesman for the star said: “There was a crash, but the kids are fine, and none were injured.

“No injuries at all. They went to hospital for a routine check-up.”

However, local fire chief Daniel Buck said it was “very lucky” no one was seriously injured.

Buck, from the Hohenschäftlarn Volunteer Fire Department, said the cars “had a lot of damage”.

He told the BBC: “The good news was nobody had really strong injuries, more minor injuries, like they have pain in the neck from the head up, normally typical for a car accident.

“Thank God nobody was really injured. It was really lucky for all the people.”

Pictures show the shocking damage to the black Mercedes, with debris strewn across the road.

NEW LIFE IN GERMANY

Kane and his family moved to Germany in August last year after the striker signed a £104million transfer to Bayern from Tottenham.

He moved his wife Katie and their four kids into a luxury £30million mansion previously owned by ex-Bayern stars Mehmet Scholl and Lucas Hernandez – in an area dubbed the Beverly Hills of Bavaria.

But Kane’s first season at the German club isn’t going exactly to plan.

Bayern capitulated against mid-table outfit FC Heidenheim last weekend and had already lost the season opening Supercup 3-0 to RB Leipzig.

All of Bayern’s, and subsequently Kane’s, eggs are now in one basket – the Champions League.

But the head-to-head between the Gunners and Bayern ended in a 2-2 at the quarter-final first leg on Tuesday.

Arsenal, on 71 points, lead the title race on goal difference as they continue their bid to lift their first league title since 2003.

Inside Harry and Katie’s life in ‘Germany’s Hollywood’

BEFORE finding their perfect family home, Harry and his clan had been staying in Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski, one of Munich’s most prestigious and exclusive hotels.

The five-star resort is frequented by celebs and footballers, costing an eye-watering £10,000 per night to stay.

Located 7.5 miles (12km) southwest of central Munich, Grünwald is a popular spot for Bayern players as it is only a 15-minute drive from the club’s training ground.

Kane is also joining the current Bayern squad living there; Alphonso Davies, Matthijs de Ligt, Eric Maxim Choupo-Moting, Benjamin Pavard and Leroy Sane.

And Katie could also rub shoulders with a new group of WAG pals including Anika Bissel, the partner of Bayern goalkeeper Manuel Peter Neuer.

There’s also Leroy Sane’s wife Candice Brook, a US model, TV personality and singer, and Mathea Fischer, the partner of Leon Goretzka.

The area is known as the “Bavarian Hollywood”, and it is Germany’s wealthiest municipality.

A source previously told MailOnline: “Grünwald is the Bavarian Beverly Hills. It’s the home of the rich and famous and offers the very best in luxury mansions.

“I can assure you that the Kane family will be in one of them and will enjoy their new life here.”

The family have a variety of high-end restaurants and eateries in the area.

They include Chang, a Michelin guide-listed Asian restaurant, which offers pick ‘n’ mix style sushi for £100, caviar for £450 and ribeye steak for £40.

Another Bayern star hotspot is H’ugo’s, which specialises in truffle pizza and pasta.

There are also plenty of International schools for the Kanes to choose from for their new little one, including the International Preschool Munich, which has fees of up to £975 per week.
