He took part in a fan Q+A session where he was asked to name his favourite animal.

Kane responded: “The lion is my favourite animal.”

However, he was seemingly unaware that the lion is the animal on the badge of Bayern’s local rivals TSV 1860 Munich.

A moderator then stepped in to explain the rivalry before Kane changed his mind and said: “Ah, okay. Just a dog.”

But the 400 Bayern Munich fans saw the funny side of the striker’s mishap.

They even serenaded him with a new chant to the tune of ‘Jingle Bells’.

The fans sung: “Harry Kane, Harry Kane, Harry all the way.

“Oh what fun it is to see, Harry scores again!”
