TV HOST Richard Osman has revealed he fell for one of WWE legend Hulk Hogan’s infamous lies.
Wrestling icon Hogan, 70, is known to have made up a lot of stories down the years that have been proven untrue.
But it was the claim that he could have put his name to the George Foreman Grill which led Osman to fall foul of his deceptive ways.
Legendary heavyweight boxer Foreman, 75, has enjoyed worldwide success with his self-titled grill which came out in 1994.
Yet that did not stop Osman from believing that Hogan could have been the frontman for the grill instead.
Speaking on The Rest Is Entertainment podcast, Osman said: “I was talking about Hulk Hogan [being] offered the George Foreman Grill and he turned it down.
“Colin Kelly [a listener] says ‘In regards to Richard’s passing comment that Hulk Hogan was the original name attached to the George Foreman Grill, it appears that unfortunately Richard has fallen for one of the Hulkster’s notorious lies’.
Osman then went on to list a number of the other falsehoods the ex-WWE man has claimed in the past.
They include being offered the lead role in The Wrestler, partying with John Belushi after WrestleMania in 1986 – Belushi died in 1982 – and wrestling 400 days in one year as time differences between Japan and the USA “made it possible”.
Osman then held his hands up to admit he was the latest victim of Hogan’s deception.

He added: “Hogan, listen, that’s OK, you’re allowed to lie. But, oh, he got me, he got me.”
The presenter then joked it “would have been different in the ring” and that Hogan was “always scared to face me”.
Last month, Hogan showed off his impressive physical shape despite celebrating his 70th birthday last year.
He has overcome a career marred by injury which has seen his knees, hips, back, and face take a massive toll.
Wrestling fans were alarmed last year when fellow Hall of Famer Kurt Angle claimed Hogan was paralysed from the waist down after undergoing an 11th back surgery.
However, the father of Hulkamania dismissed those rumours and insisted he is still doing well.
