Horror moment UFC star’s foot ‘stops working’ mid-fight as fans say ‘how did I miss this’

UFC star Julija Stoliarenko suffered a horror foot injury mid-fight – leaving fans stunned they failed to notice.

The flyweight fought Luana Carolina at the UFC’s Apex Center in Las Vegas.

And during the second of the three round bout, a right hand from Carolina sent Stoliarenko reeling backwards.

But on the retreat, Stoliarenko rolled her ankle and momentarily stood on it.

Somehow, she remained not only on her feet but still in the fight.

But fans only realised when watching it back just how painful her foot injury would have been.

One said: “Stoliarenko’s foot was not working at the end of that fight.”

Another added: “F*** how’d I miss this.”

One simply put: “Ouch!!”

Carolina went onto win the bout in the last ten seconds to cap off a dominant performance.

Also on the undercard, Brit Molly McCann made a successful UFC return to submit Diana Belbita.

McCann, 33, dominated the fight and won through a round 1 submission with just one second left on the clock.

She pulled off an incredible armbar move in which she grabbed Belbita’s arm and pinned her with the use of her legs.
