BACKER BILK (5.17 Lingfield, nap)

He has hardly put a foot wrong since going into handicaps at the start of last month. He has been a close second twice at Wolverhampton with a game win around here sandwiched in between. That was also the only time he tackled this 1m2f distance which is clearly right up his street. Billy Loughnane takes over from Luke Morris here and can steer him to another victory.

RIDIN SOLO (3.55 Catterick, nb)

Can go it alone. He was impressive when winning over 2m4f at Sedgefield last time and gives the impression that this longer distance will be fine. This is another undulating track that he handles well and he went close here two runs ago off this handicap mark.

KITARO KICH (4.12 Lingfield, treble)

Has won two of his past three and can score again. Having won over further, he really enjoyed himself dropped back to this trip at Chelmsford las time. He is back six days later under a penalty and looks very hard to beat.

EVA’S OSKAR (5.00 Catterick, Lucky 15)

Was left in front at Bangor last time but had every chance of winning anyway. He is a strong stayer who handles a tricky course like this and anything close to his best form should see his head in front again.
