INFLEXIBLE (3.35 Market Rasen, nap)
He needed his first couple of runs over fences but the penny well and truly dropped at Hereford last time. Tom George’s six-year-old really enjoyed stepping up to this sort of trip and battled right to the line for a close-up second. His jumping was a lot better there too. He will have learned from that run and doesn’t need much more to land his first success over the bigger obstacles.
PARK PRINCESS (4.05 Market Rasen, nb)
She looked a potential star when cruising home for a ten-length success on debut at Newbury in December. Jonathan Burke merely had to shake the reins for her to pull clear with a lot left in the tank. Anthony Honeyball has been patient and given her a nice break before this return at Listed level. It will be disappointing if she’s not good enough to score again.
OUR NEL (3.20 Taunton, treble)
She showed real promise when third on chase debut at Fakenham despite not quite staying the 2m5f distance in testing ground. Harry Fry drops her back a couple of furlongs and the better ground is also in her favour today. She looks nicely handicapped on 96 and should be capable of figuring a fair bit higher than that in time.
PESSOA (8.00 Wolverhampton, Lucky 15 bet)
This five-year-old has a fine record over this course and distance with two wins and a second from her past three visits. She got no luck in running last time before finishing well and can get back to winning ways.
