GUGUSS COLLONGES (2.10 Chepstow, nap)
Will enjoy dropping back in trip after a solid effort over further at Plumpton last time. He was impressive when winning at Lingfield two runs ago and is only 3lb higher in the weights. He keeps it simple from the front and can score again under Lily Pinchin.
FLORIDA DREAMS (3.00 Newcastle, nb)
Wasn’t disgraced in the Grade 1 Challow Hurdle at Aintree on Boxing Day and will find this a lot easier. Top-class trainer Nicky Richards continues in excellent form and wisely moves this six-year-old up in distance here. He likes a little cut in the ground and should be much too strong for these rivals.
FENLAND TIGER (3.35 Newcastle, treble)
Made it two wins from his past three starts at Doncaster last time out. He’s a proper stayer who will appreciate this test and has won here before. He is creeping up the weights but keeps improving and is more than capable of handling this slight hike in grade.
BACK TOMORROW (7.30 Southwell, Lucky 15 bet)
Was an impressive winner on his last run over course and distance in December. He went close in good company at Kempton last time and is back from the same mark. He’s had just six runs so there should be a lot more to come.
