ANMAAT (3.00 Haydock, nap)

He has been off for 439 days but in-form Owen Burrows should have him ready to rock. He won this race two years ago and was last seen taking Group 1 honours in France. Something close to that form would be good enough.

JARRAAF (3.20 Ascot, nb)

He is hard to beat under brilliant Billy Loughnane. He was impressive when scoring over course and distance last month and an extra 8lb won’t put the brakes on.

INDELIBLE (4.45 Haydock, treble)

She looks capable of better after a close second at Sandown last time. That built on her excellent fourth in the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot and she seems to go on any ground. She doesn’t have to find much more to score for in-form Ralph Beckett.

Templegate’s TV verdicts

ASCOT

ADAAY IN DEVON can score under Japanese ace rider Nanako Fujita.

He went close in a York Group 3 last time after a Sandown Listed win at this trip. He can keep it simple from the front and leave them in his wake.

Badri chased him home last time and could make the frame again.

Apollo One was touched off in the Stewards’ Cup at Goodwood last week but has enough zip for this shorter trip too.

2.10

RANCH HAND was rusty on his second start after a break at Newbury last time. He’s come down the weights and stays well so should do better.

Fox Journey started this season with a win and had traffic problems at Ripon latest. He should go well.

Beamish has had some help from the handicapper and has gone close in better races than this.

Saying that, should reserve Samui end up running, ignore the above as he’ll win for Gordon Elliott!

2.45

INSANITY makes perfect sense. Alan King’s four-year-old has done well since switching from hurdles and went close over course and distance last time. A 3lb rise is fair with more to come.

Cracksking is consistent and went close again at Kempton latest. He’s fine on turf too and likes this trip.

Truthful drops down from Listed level and has shown her before over this distance for in-form William Haggas.

The Goat won nicely on the sand latest and would be a threat if repeating that on turf.

3.20

JARRAAF is hard to beat under brilliant Billy Loughnane. He was impressive when scoring over course and distance last month and an extra 8lb won’t put the brakes on.

Grand City Hall landed his last win over this trip and went close at Cork last time finishing strongly.

He won’t be far away while Daring Legend is consistent and ran well at Donny last time. He’s creeping up the weights but can hit the frame.

Imperial Guard hit the post at Newmarket latest and likes this trip.

3.55

SOLOMON had four lengths in hand when scoring at Haydock and escapes a penalty for that apprentices’ contest. He’ll improve for the step up in trip for William Haggas.

Houstonn didn’t have to hit top gear taking a Windsor maiden 19 days ago. He makes his handicap debut from a fair 88 with scope to improve.

Haggas has another chance with Sam Hawkens making his debut for the yard. He stays and should have more in the locker.

4.30

NEW IMAGE ran a mighty race when a neck second in the red-hot International Stakes here 14 days ago.

He was full of running at the line so the extra furlong should be fine and a 3lb rise is fair.

Carrytheone tried to come from too far back in that race and is another who should appreciate going up to a mile.

Bopedro put in a decent effort when fifth in the Golden Mile at Goodwood and has had a nudge down the weights.

Silent Film didn’t get much luck in that race and could figure.

HAYDOCK

2.25

TWIRLING ran up to her best when beaten in a blanket finish at Newmarket over this trip last time.

She was in front a long way out and kept going strongly. This looks a slightly softer race and she’ll be right in the mix again.

Theme Park was impressive when seeing off 14 rivals at York last time. A 4lb rise looks more than fair and he won’t mind what the ground does.

Phoenix Passion has been in fine form and made it four wins on the spin when dead-heating at Kempton.

The handicapper may be catching up with him now but he’ll be competitive.

It’s still early days for Kilt who won at Newmarket on comeback in May before a modest effort there last time. He’s had a little break and could come back stronger for Haggas.

Cruyff Turn showed some positive signs when beaten less than three lengths at Thirsk last weekend. He’s now 9lb below his last win which makes him dangerous.

Diamondonthehill was just pipped at Thirsk last time and should run well again.

3.00

He won this race two years ago and was last seen taking Group 1 honours in France. Something close to that form would be good enough.

Al Mubhir looks a threat after his easy Listed success at Sandown last month. He has scored here too for Haggas and goes on any ground.

Lord North is eight now but went close in a Sandown Group 2 in April before being outclassed at Royal Ascot last time. This is more his level and he’ll go well over a trip that suits.

Certain Lad went close in a couple of Group 3s before taking a French Listed contest last time.

He is best on testing ground and would be a contender if the heavens open.

Brackens Laugh has had a wind op since his fair run at Royal Ascot but has something to find along with Mujtaba who has lost his way a little this season.

4.45

INDELIBLE looks capable of better after a close second at Sandown last time.

That built on her excellent fourth in the Sandringham Stakes at Royal Ascot and she seems to go on any ground.

She doesn’t have to find much more to score for in-form Ralph Beckett.

American Arrow created a good impression on her debut over 7f here when winning easily.

This is obviously a lot tougher but she will have learned plenty from that first run and has more to come.

Naomi Lapaglia held her own when third in an Ascot Group 3 two Saturdays ago. She’s versatile ground-wise and should be capable of better.

Choisya won a good handicap here last season and wasn’t beaten far when last seen at Goodwood. That was back in May and she can figure after that break.

Caernarfon would like rain as her best has come with cut in the ground. She is proven at Listed level and is another with an each-way shout.

Orchid Bloom has her sights lowered after a couple of modest efforts at Group 2 level.

NEWMARKET

3.40

MOUNTAIN BREEZE was touched off in the Group 2 Duchess Of Cambridge here last time on the back of a good run at Royal Ascot.

She should enjoy moving up to 7f and has more to come.

Lake Victoria looked a nice prospect when scoring on debut at The Curragh. She will take a big step forward for that for Aidan O’Brien.

Flaming Stone was a solid Listed third over this distance at Sandown. That was just her third run so there should be more to come.

Liberalised was three lengths behind the tip here last time and needs to improve to close the gap.

Elsie’s Ruan showed promise when winning on debut at York and deserves this crack at better company.
