Horse racing tips: Templegate’s NAP had strong form in Ireland and should be hard to beat at Huntingdon

MAGICAL ANNIE (2.55 Huntingdon, nap)

We have seen her on the racecourse just once when she landed a big-field bumper in bottomless ground at Galway in October. She tanked into the lead there and had the race in the bag a long way out.

She was sold for £140,000 and is now with the capable Ben Pauling.
This is a hike in class but her Galway form is more than enough to bring her home in front.

KARAKTERE D’ENFER (1.25 Huntingdon, nb)

He was beaten in a photo on debut in France back in March. He was well backed for his first run here at Doncaster but seemed to find the ground too quick as he came home third. Today’s conditions will suit better.

JAVERT ALLEN (2.25 Huntingdon, treble)

Went well on his first crack in handicaps when second at Ludlow. He was coming back from more than 10 months off there so is entitled to come on for the experience.

His debut win — an  impressive 13-length success  at Bangor — came in the mud so today’s ground is not a worry.
