Was a good third in a deeper race than this at Carlisle last time. He looked the winner all the way until just getting tired up the Cumbrian track’s punishing hill.

This drop back in trip looks a wise move and the handicapper has been fair by leaving his mark alone.

DR KANANGA (2.45 Fontwell, nb)

Has been knocking on the door with seconds here and again at Catterick last time.

He is best over this trip and is another who has been given a chance at the weights.

HOSTILE HOTELIER (4.30 Southwell, treble)

Hit the crossbar on his last run here in January and matched that effort at Newcastle over fences last time.

This longer trip will be ideal back hurdling here.

4.48       Twp Stori             Just pipped at Lingfield and has more to come.

5.30       Gold Aura           Good run here last time and longer trip will help.

6.00       Big Narstie        Landed two good wins and can defy a penalty.

6.30       Golden Rainbow            Has shown good form over this course and distance.

7.00       Miss Rainbow Working up to a win and this looks a good chance.

7.30       Forever Noah  Improved from debut when third at Lingfield latest.

8.00       Inexplicable     Went close at Southwell and this is no tougher.
