A FORMER MMA fighter who grew up on of the UK’s ‘poorest’ estates now claims to be a multi-millionaire working in a dream job.

Richard Dickson grew up in a council flat on the south side of Glasgow, and said that he was surrounded by drugs and violence during his youth.

Richard started off his property business by watching YouTube videosCaters

After training to become an electrician , Richard dabbled in mixed martial arts. But neither profession provided him with the income he sought.

The young Glasgow man then claims to have spent months scouring the internet for advice on how to move his life forward.

After an encounter with property guru Paul McFadden, Richard launched his own business specialising in sourcing and trading.

Richard launches his first venture in January 2019 and claims to have earned £100,000 in the first 12 months of trading.

By the time he was 25 Richard was a millionaire, with access to luxury cars.

Speaking to the Daily Star he said: “I sat with a copy of the Sunday Times Rich List and I did a tally. I went through all these different things that would be someone’s reason for having wealth.

“I wanted to see what was creating the richest people in the United Kingdom and property was the strongest out of all of them by far.”

Richard told the Star that his business has gone on to sell more than £10m in residential property over the years.

He described his work as being similar to that of an estate agent, but stressed that he’s ‘far better’ than that.

Richard added: “We deal with investors only. We deal with clients who say, ‘I want a 15-property investment portfolio in this area, can you go and get me it?’

“We go out and actively market for properties. I find properties that have never been on the market, and I negotiate with those homeowners directly to get them what they want.”

But now Richard has achieved financial success , he is focusing on helping the next generation of aspiring business owners.

He founded the Young Entrepreneur Society, and said that many of the young people who gone through the programme now earn £100,000 per year.

Interestingly Richard said he was now less focused on his own material wealth, and had sold some of his luxury cars.

He added: “I am the least financially-motivated, in terms of material things, I have been in a long time. Which I feel is a great blessing.”
