A security guard who worked the Tyson Fury vs Francis Ngannou fight has labelled the Gypsy King’s dad John a “f***ing joke” and said he needed his nappy changing.

Former boxer Dominic Negus enjoyed the weekend’s festivities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia where he was the detail for the event.

However, he was critical of John Fury, 59, for his antics ahead of his son’s bout.

The former bare-knuckle fighter went topless for Fury’s pre-fight press conference, getting into a war of words with Mike Tyson as he stood alongside the WBC champion.

Negus told the Daily Star he wasn’t impressed by John’s behaviour, likening him to an attention seeking baby.

The burly bodyguard, who once fought Audley Harrison, was working for Frank Warren’s Queensberry Promotions.

He was delighted to have had the opportunity to be a part of the occasion, but he didn’t think much of Fury Snr.

Negus said: “There was never going to be trouble over there, only John Fury changing his nappy again!

“I mean that guy is just a melt. He thinks it’s the f****** John Fury show, it’s a joke. It’s all about him.

“You’ve got your son fighting, let the boy do his job. You had your chance years ago, you weren’t a good fighter anyway back in the day. All you are now is a big, overgrown bully.

“How many times has he said he’s going to smack people? He’s f****** smacked no one. Sometimes you need to be quiet, it ain’t your night, it’s your boy’s night.

“But it was a great show to be involved in, it was a great honour. We were there for Queensberry Promotions overseeing the whole show. As for Tyson [Fury], he must have 20 or 30 people wiping his a*** and half of them are there for the ride. There were so many hangers-on there.

“There was the other boys fighting [on the undercard]. There was a team of us and our job was to make sure everyone was happy. We put things in place, make sure barriers are set up properly, do a recce of the arena, make sure there is good access in and out. It went really well. Everything went like clockwise and everyone was really happy.”

John’s topless moment, that fans online called a David Brent moment, came after he exchanged verbal jabs with Mike Tyson – before he squared up to the hall of fame boxer and called him out several times.

Iron Mike chanted “and the new” repeatedly during a press conference earlier, encouraging the crowd to join in, and it wound John up a treat.

John jumped out his chair and charged at the American, forcing security to hold him back, while screaming: “Do you want to fight me? I can fight you right now.”

However, once things had calmed down, John did admit that maybe he would struggle against “the Baddest Man on the Planet” in the ring.

He said: “Listen, let me tell you this much. I respect Mike Tyson. I named my son after him. But I’m a fighting man. I’ve got a warrior’s heart. I’m in Saudi. Bring it on!”
