INTER MIAMI are “in talks” to sign legendary Real Madrid defender Sergio Ramos, according to reports.

The Spaniard, 37, has spent the last two seasons with French champions Paris Saint-Germain.

But he is now a free agent seeking a new club following the expiration of his contract.

And Sport understands David Beckham’s Inter Miami are “one step away” from signing the centre-back.

Ramos has also been linked with a move to Saudi Arabia – joining a host of European stars who have already gone to the Middle East.

A Saudi Pro League transfer would see him join ex-Real team-mate Ronaldo – who plays for Al-Nassr.

Ramos and Ronaldo spent nine years playing alongside one another at the Bernabeu, winning two LaLiga titles and four Champions Leagues.

But the Spanish defender looks set to snub a Middle East move in exchange for a switch to the US.

And a deal with Inter Miami would see him link up with Lionel Messi once more.

In response, one social media user said: “The Leo Messi influence 🐐.”

Another added: “Ramos decided to go where the real GOAT went.”

And a third replied: “Bro played with Messi a couple times and fell in love.”

Ramos and Messi, Real Madrid and Barcelona icons, were team-mates at Paris Saint-Germain.

And Ramos could now be the latest high-profile addition to the Inter Miami team.

Along with Messi, Barcelona icon Sergio Busquets has already joined the MLS side.

Jordi Alba has also signed for the Florida outfit.
