CHELSEA continue their US pre-season tour against Scottish giants Celtic – and they’ll be hoping for a better result than last time out.
Enzo Maresca‘s first objective as the new Blues boss was to get past League One side Wrexham in a highly-anticipated friendly.
Christopher Nkunku scored the opening goal in Chelsea’s 2-2 thriller against Wrexham[/caption] Celtic stunned Prem champions Man City in a pre-season friendly[/caption]And the ex-Leicester manager saw the fight that he wants from his players just two minutes in as Levi Colwill was involved in a heated bust-up with Wrexham’s James McClean.
However, Lesley Ugochukwu’s late strike could only salvage Chelsea a 2-2 draw despite Christopher Nkunku initially putting the Blues ahead.
But Maresca will be hoping that he can earn his first win against a Celtic side who recently beat Premier League champions Manchester City.
