Jadon Sancho apologises after finally ending Man Utd nightmare with loan transfer move to Borussia Dortmund

JADON SANCHO has finally apologised following his return to Borussia Dortmund – but not to Erik ten Hag.

The 23-year-old will spend the rest of the season with the Bundesliga giants on loan from Manchester United to temporarily end his Old Trafford exile.

Dortmund have paid around £3m for the deal, which could rise to £3.4m if certain performance-based clauses are met, with the Red Devils reportedly paying £100,000 of his weekly £290k salary while he is in Germany.

However, there is believed to be no option to buy included with the England international remaining under contract at United until 2026.

Sancho, who received a warm welcome back at Dortmund yesterday before infuriating United fans with the first thing he did after sealing the move, was outcasted after a stand-off that began when he was left out of the squad for September’s 3-1 loss at Arsenal.

Boss Ten Hag said his training was not up to standard when quizzed on his absence afterwards, but Sancho posted on social media in response: “I will not allow people saying things that are completely untrue, I conducted myself in training very well this week.”

Even though the England ace, whose last cap came over two years ago, deleted the post, Ten Hag called for an apology that never came.

Sancho was axed from United’s WhatsApp group after already being barred from training with the senior side or using any of their facilities, including the canteen.

Both staff and team-mates urged Sancho — who joined United from Borussia Dortmund for £73m in July 2021 — to back down but he refused.

But the attacker caused a stir on social media after completing his switch on Thursday to the team he spent four years at and scored 50 goals in 137 games for.

A video of Sancho has now gone viral that shows the star saying “sorry” TWICE in a matter of seconds.

The clip was posted by Dortmund and shows him being shown around their training HQ and undergoing parts of his medical.

Sancho, who is seen walking past a clock that shows the time as being 23:41, is filmed on an exercise bike when the main talking point arose as he responded to a staff member in the background saying: “Latest medical check ever.”

He then starts laughing before responding with: “Sorry guys, I’m sorry.”

And after his refusal to apologise to Ten Hag, the video soon caught the attention of supporters as they cheekily got trolling on social media.

“Jadon Sancho really said sorry twice in less than a second. I’m SCREAMING,” wrote one.

Another said: “Making sure that ETH can hear him apologise is crazy.”

A third commented: “Bro’s already learnt how to say sorry… if only he learnt how to say it three months ago and none of this would of happened.”

A fourth added: “Sancho saying sorry twice in 3 seconds but couldn’t say sorry to Erik ten Hag. It was really deeper than we thought.”

While a rival fan joked: “Bro intentionally didn’t say sorry to play the UCL (UEFA Champions League) knockouts.”

Former United team-mate Nemanja Matic recently hit out at Sancho’s timekeeping and claimed that the forward was “always late” to training.

And other supporters could not resist poking fun at that after viewing the clip and hearing his conversation with the Dortmund staff member.

One said: “Latest medical check ever, he is right back to his ways.”

As another joked: “Man was late for his medical lmao.”
