JADON SANCHO is one of Manchester United’s biggest transfer failures of all time.
That’s the view of former Red Devils striker Louis Saha as Sancho completes a loan move away from Old Trafford back to Borussia Dortmund.
Jadon Sancho is one of United’s biggest flops[/caption] According to former United striker Louis Saha[/caption]Saha made the switch the other way back in 2021 for £73million but it has never clicked for him at United.
Now this season the 23-year-old has been exiled from the first team squad after publicly calling out the manager on social media for dropping him.
Speaking to Paddy Power, Saha said: “Jadon Sancho is one of Manchester United’s biggest transfer failures – you can’t have that type of quality sidelined because of his mindset.
“You can’t leave him out for six months because of that. The only thing that should stop you is injuries.
“We know that he is good enough, which is why it doesn’t sit right. You can’t be putting yourself in that situation and thinking that you are bigger than the manager.
“Whatever happens, I don’t back Sancho – which is hard for me as a supporter of United. It’s just horrendous.”
United boss Erik ten Hag axed Sancho for a poor attitude in training in the run up to United’s fourth game of the season away to Arsenal.
Sancho responded by posting a message on social media effectively calling the Red Devils boss a liar.

Sancho posted: “Please don’t believe everything you read. I will not allow people saying things that is completely untrue… I have conducted myself in training very well this week.
“I believe there are other reasons for this matter which I won’t go into, I’ve been a scapegoat for a long time which isn’t fair! All I want to do is play football with a smile on my face, and contribute to the team.”
The winger later took the message down but it was too late.
Ten Hag demanded an apology which the player was not prepared to give.
So he was sent to train on his own at the Carrington academy where he was forced to eat alone with with food delivered to him from the first team canteen.
United are currently completing negotiations for the players loan deal back to Dortmund for the rest of the season but will have to contribute £100,000 a week to his £290,000 a week salary.
While one winger is on his way another continues to come under increasing scrutiny for his under par performances.
Antony could easily join Sancho in that list of United’s worst all time signings following his £85.5million switch from Ajax.
The 23-year-old is all too predicatble cutting ion from the right and shooting with his left.
He has no goals or assists this season, but Saha says Ten Hag is equally culpable for the players poor form.
Saha added: “There is a bit of stubbornness in the way Antony plays. When you have a predictable style, you have to change it up.
“Whether it’s him, his manager or even his entourage, everyone can see he needs to change something.
“But Antony isn’t willing to change. The manager keeps playing him right wing and he is sticking to the same thing.
“I’m sorry, at some point, it becomes the responsibility of the manager because it’s not normal!”
“Maybe he could try playing him on the left and getting him, with his magic left foot, to cross the ball in-between the goalkeeper and defender, let’s see what happens.
“He needs to be forced to do things that he isn’t comfortable with, it’s got to be an obligation.”
