But in his upcoming fight against Ryan Bourland, he’s making his first appearance on an undercard — here we check out the purse for the highly anticipated bout.

What is the prize money for the Jake Paul vs Ryan Bourland fight?

In his boxing career so far, The Problem Child’s only defeat came at the hands of Tommy Fury in February 2023.

Since then, Paul beat Nate Diaz and knocked out Andre August.

His next fight against Bourland — an ex-Golden Gloves champion and junior Olympic boxer who hung up his gloves and swapped the sport for working on oil rigs in 2018 — who has a record of 17-2.

And although a lot of people have suggested Paul is all about the money, this time he’s fighting for experience and donating his prize money to charity.

Paul released a statement on Instagram saying: “I’m fighting for experience, not for the money, and to show my love for this beautiful island (Puerto Rico), I’ll be donating my entire fight purse from this event to my non-profit Boxing Bullies to help renovate gyms across Puerto Rico.”

Meanwhile, Bourland’s official purse is unknown.

When is the Jake Paul vs Ryan Bourland fight?

The Jake Paul vs Ryan Bourland fight is on the undercard of Amanda Serrano’s featherweight bout against Nina Meinke — on on Saturday March 2, 2024.

The venue for the event is the Coliseo de Puerto Rico in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and will be shown live on DAZN.

The ring-walks for Paul and Bourland are expected to commence at around 3am UK time (Sunday morning), and 10pm ET (Saturday night).
