JOE Burrow has spent $3million on a replica BATMOBILE – even though it’s not street legal.
Burrows earns a whopping $55million annually after agreeing a $275million extension in 2023.
Burrow is one of the best QB’s in the NFL – leading the league in passing yards and touchdowns thrown despite the Bengals’ woeful season.
But the 2020 first overall pick has found a way to channel his frustrations as the Bengals look set to be eliminated from the play-offs.
Hard Knock practice cameras picked up Burrow telling wide receiver Tee Higgins: “Have I told you I bought a Batmobile?”
Normal human beings would have done a double-take and looked at Burrow like he was crazy.
But Higgins casually quizzed: “Did you get it yet?”
“I don’t get it for a year, but I bought it,” Burrow calmly responded.
The scene then jumped to show a post on X by “Lights, Camera, Barstool” from Warner Bros.
It advertised 10 “fully functional but not street legal” replicas of the Batmobile from the Christopher Nolan “Dark Knight” trilogy.
The X account has since confirmed that Burrow has purchased one.
Ja’Marr Chase joined the conversation and suggested that he has to go all in as the “vengeance Batman where he had the s****y ass eye thing on.”
“I think I gotta go all in and go for like the expensive Batsuit too, yeah,” Burrow chimed in.
The trio later joked that the club could be the best place to break out the Batmobile and a Batsuit.
The interaction took place before the Bengals dropped an AFC North showdown against the Steelers on Sunday.
Replicas have custom-built interiors based on the preferences of the owners.
And each model comes with a unique number as well as proof of authenticity from Warner Bros. Discovery.
Burrow must wait a year before it’s delivered to his doorstep.
The 27-year-old superstar has thrown for 3,337 yards and 30 touchdowns this season with five weeks remaining to add to his stats.
He added 309 yards and three scores to his stat sheet against the Steelers, but slumped to a 44-38 defeat.
Before Cincinnati’s bye week, Chase was pacing to be the league’s receiving triple-crown winner, leading all players in receptions and touchdowns.
The wide receiver is set to secure his own record-breaking contract extension this season.
But Baltimore Ravens star Derrick Henry has since achieved 15 touchdowns.
