A NEW video has shown that Jordan Chiles should receive her bronze medal.
The 23-year-old American gymnast was stripped of her bronze medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

However, Romania successfully claimed that the medal should go to their athlete, Ana Barbosu.
USA Gymnastics has not given up on attempting to get Chiles’ medal reinstated.
And neither has Chiles, who has submitted a new application to the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland over the decision to give up her bronze medal, sharing that there is new video footage that helps her case.
The brief has asked the Federal Supreme Court of Switzerland to reopen the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) proceedings to look at new evidence which Chiles’ attorneys say they didn’t look at.
Chiles’ legal team says that a documentary crew has a clip and audio recordings that prove the gymnast’s case.
“The evidence in question – footage from a documentary crew that was recording the women’s gymnastics floor finals – proves that CAS’s prior decision rested on a critical factual error that was compounded by the fact that CAS allowed Chiles less than a day to prepare for her hearing,” Chiles’ attorneys said in a statement on Tuesday, per CNN.
“CAS stripped Chiles’s bronze medal based on its conclusion that Chiles’s coach was four seconds late in making a verbal inquiry to correct Chiles’s score, but the new evidence clearly shows that the inquiry was made on time.
Shortly after the competition, Chiles was bumped to bronze after United States coach Cecile Landi successfully argued that her score was under-marked.
Barbosu appeared to have the third-place finish locked up after Chiles finished her routine.
Chiles’ initial fifth-place score was 13.666 but was added .1 points after the inquiry.
Barbosu would come in fourth place, leaving her devastated at the event.
Chiles received the medal on the podium alongside US teammate Simone Biles, who received the silver, and Brazil’s Rebecca Andrada, who claimed the gold.
However, the Romanians disputed the decision and the CAS then concluded that the review was submitted four seconds past the one-minute deadline.

Chiles’ latest filing comes after a September 16 filing where she decided to appeal CAS’ decision to the Federal Super Court of Switzerland.
The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee (USOPC) believes that Chiles should be given the honor she deserves.
“Due to the egregious errors and oversight by CAS in handling the case and overlooking clear evidence of Jordan’s rightful Bronze win, we are determined to ensure she receives the recognition she deserves. Our commitment to truth in this matter remains steadfast,” the USOPC said to CNN last week.
Chiles did claim the gold in the team event alongside Biles, Sunisa Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera.
She also received the silver in the same event at the Tokyo Olympics.
