Pickford worked with David Moyes at Sunderland and the pair get on well, a partnership that has helped Everton climb the table.
And despite pretenders to his England jersey — plus a new coach in Thomas Tuchel — Pickford has also confirmed his status as Three Lions first choice this season.
Over the years Pickford has seen off Nick Pope, Aaron Ramsdale, Dean Henderson and Sam Johnstone in the battle to be England’s No1.
While he has consistently been among the Prem’s top keepers in recent history and has now breached 320 top flight appearances.
The experienced gloveman hasn’t missed a Prem clash for Everton since 2022, becoming a crucial part of the Toffees set-up.
