And to top things off Mourinho has received his lowest payout yet.

The veteran boss’s contract at Roma was set to finish at the end of the season – but he was expecting a new deal.

Now the club have parted ways with their Portuguese manager they due to give him a payout.

From Mourinho’s previous five sackings, he has earned around a whopping £80million.

But what he is about to be handed by the Serie A side will be his lowest-ever payout – £3m.

So let’s take a look at how much Mourinho has accumulated over his last five sackings.

Chelsea have paid him more than £26m alone.

His first axe from Stamford Bridge in 2007 left him with £18million in his back pocket.

And the second time round in 2015 saw the Special One receive £8.3m.

Following his move to Real Madrid in 2010 he was given a pay-off of £17m as his contract was cut short in 2013.

Then when Mourinho was binned at Old Trafford in December 2018 he was given nearly £20m to take home.

And before he made his way to Italy Tottenham joined the bandwagon and gave the manager a boot after a poor 17-month stint.

He did not leave empty-handed here either and sailed away with £15m.

Mourinho’s final game in charge at Roma was Sunday’s 3-1 defeat to AC Milan.

He watched his last game from the stands due to yet another suspension.

Having won just one of their last six games and currently sit ninth in the Serie A – Roma chiefs decided to call it quits with Mourinho.

And his replacement has already been named.

The Italian giants have agreed a deal to bring in club legend Daniele De Rossi as their new manager.
