Tamil Nadu fell just short of the target, finishing with a total of 171 runs.

Hoysala played a crucial role in the match, scoring thirteen runs off thirteen balls before making a crucial breakthrough by dismissing Tamil Nadu’s opener, P. Parveen Kumar.

Despite conceding 28 runs in the four overs he bowled, Hoysala’s performance was instrumental in Karnataka’s victory by removing swashbuckling opener, Kumar on the very first ball of Tamil Nadu’s run-chase.
