Jamie Carragher and Kate Abdo brutally snubbed picking Jude Bellingham[/caption] Jude Bellingham got his own back on the pundit by criticising his Team of the Year[/caption]Carragher and Abdo joined forces to create their team and they were put up against Micah Richards and Alex Scott – while Bellingham cast his eye over both to decide which was best.
The twist was that once a player was selected, he became unavailable to the other duo.
Bellingham was snapped up by Richards and Scott after he was trolled by Carragher.
The Liverpool legend joked when picking his midfield: “This is the easiest choice I have to make, I’m going to pick a young superstar from England, who has lit up the Champions League, it has to be only one man… Declan Rice.”
Bellingham was left in stitches and Richards burst into hysterics.
The selections continued with Carragher and Abdo going for a front three of Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane and Lionel Messi.
Opponents Richards and Scott went for Vinicius Junior, Erling Haaland and Mo Salah.
With Bellingham in the side and promised a “free role” in the midfield by his co-gaffers, the Real Madrid star said that team was best.

Bellingham quipped: “I don’t think there is enough energy in there… a lot of walking.”
Carragher hit back: “I tell you what Jude, have a race with Mbappe and see what happens.”
