Kim Kardashian and the rest of the "American Horror Story" season 12 cast are ready to rock some cradles in the first look at the newest horror installment. On July 20, FX unveiled a mysterious teaser for season 12, which featured shots of Kardashian sporting a blonde wig and ghostly makeup as she holds a baby. Series stars Emma Roberts and Cara Delevingne are also seen in the trailer — set to the ominous tune of "Rock-a-Bye Baby" — but, as expected, it hardly dives into the theme of the upcoming season. So far, the only thorough updates we've gotten from "American Horror Story" season 12 have been the cast, which has added a lot of new faces to the TV franchise. In addition to Kardashian and Delevingne, "Pose" alum Michaela Jaé Rodriguez has also joined the show — but that's not all. In a June interview with People, Zachary Quinto not only revealed that he'll make a cameo appearance in the upcoming season, but he also said that he was "really impressed" by Kardashian's acting skills. "I did a cameo on this season of 'American Horror Story,' and I got to meet her," Quinto said. "She was so lovely and warm, and really, I don't think she needs my advice." He continued, "She seemed really in her element, and I was really impressed by her spirit and her openness. I really look forward to seeing this season because I think she's gonna do a wonderful job." On April 10, it was announced that Kardashian had officially joined the anthology series alongside Roberts, as the reality TV star unveiled the news on her Instagram with a video set to eerie music. The clip reveals she and Roberts are starring in the latest chapter of "American Horror Story" called "Delicate." That day, Roberts shared the same video on her Instagram along with the caption, "This summer…Kim and I are DELICATE." https://www.instagram.com/p/Cq3I8_jLRMX/?hl=en Variety confirmed the news shortly after Kardashian posted the video, with a rep for "American Horror Story" creator Ryan Murphy telling the outlet that the star's character was designed especially for her. Reps for FX and Kardashian did not respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment. Speaking to Variety at the 2023 Met Gala, Kardashian gave an update on filming, saying, "We start shooting my stuff at the end of this month. But production has already started and I'm so excited." Though she didn't reveal much about her role, she did add, "It's really fun to step outside of your comfort zone and try something new and grow. I'm so excited for the experience." Kardashian also revealed she took acting lessons to prepare, saying, "It's a challenge. I like to challenge myself." Kardashian's "American Horror Story" debut will be her largest acting role to date. She's had smaller roles in 2008's "Disaster Movie," 2009's "CSI: NY," and 2012's "Drop Dead Diva," among others, and in the years since she's made a number of high-profile cameos and hosted an episode of "Saturday Night Live." She's also continued to work on her business and reality TV projects, including the third season of "The Kardashians." While we wait for a premiere date, keep reading ahead for everything else we know about "American Horror Story: Delicate" so far. 49124631 "American Horror Story: Delicate" Teaser "American Horror Story: Delicate" Cast Kardashian and Roberts are joined by Matt Czuchry of "Gilmore Girls" and "The Resident," who is also making his AHS debut in the forthcoming season, per The Hollywood Reporter.
