KYLIAN MBAPPE will NOT train with the rest of the Paris Saint-Germain squad when he returns from holiday amid uncertainty over his future.

Mbappe, 24, whose contract expires next summer, is refusing to sign a new deal with the French champions.

As a result, PSG are trying to sell the forward in the current window to avoid losing him on a free in 2024.

He was left out of their pre-season tour of Asia and was seen relaxing on holiday in Sardinia.

And now it has been widely reported he will be training with the “loft'” group rather than the “A” group – which consists of players who could feature for the first team.

The news comes as Luis Enrique‘s side prepare to kick off their Ligue 1 campaign at home to Lorient on Saturday.

PSG believe Mbappe has already agreed terms for a switch to Real Madrid next summer.

This has led to them trying to sell the player to ensure they recoup some of the £165million they signed him for from Monaco in 2017.

And they accepted a world-record £259M bid from Saudi Arabian side Al-Hilal last month.

But Mbappe refused to meet representatives of the Middle East side, blocking the move as he looks to wait out his contract.

PSG are said to have offered Mbappe a new deal which includes a guaranteed sale clause at the end of the 2023/24 campaign.

This has been rejected by the France captain.

Mbappe is PSG’s all-time top scorer with 212 goals in 260 appearances.

He has also contributed 98 assists.

Meanwhile, PSG appear to be preparing for life without Mbappe as they close in on a £69m deal for Benfica and Portugal attacker Goncalo Ramos.
