LEEDS fans have slammed the club after realising they have let players worth £120million leave for just £3.5million this summer.

The Whites were relegated to the Championship after a turbulent season saw them finish 19th in the Premier League.

Leeds spent heavily during their three season in the top flight and are now in the process of overhauling their squad.

The club have let six players leave on loan already this summer and cashed in on just two.

The eight signings cost the club a whopping £117.5m.

Rodrigo joined from Valencia in 2020 for £27m but a relegation clause in his contract meant he could go to Qatari side Al-Rayyan for just £3m.

Brenden Aaronson joined from RB Salzburg for £25m and he scored just one goal in his first season in England as Leeds went down.

The American international has signed for Union Berlin on loan.

Joining him in the Bundesliga next season is Robin Koch, who has joined Eintracht Frankfurt on loan.

Leeds had to get rid of the versatile defender as there was a clause in his deal which prevents him from playing in the Championship.

Leeds’ summer departures

Meanwhile, Max Wober is close to securing a loan move to Borussia Monchengladbach.

Other departures see defensive duo Rasmus Kristensen and Diego Llorente both join Roma for next season.

The Spaniard spent the second half of the season with the club and has chosen to stay in the Italian capital.

Marc Roca joined from Bayern Munich 12 months ago for £10m and has left Elland Road for Real Betis on loan.

Elsewhere, Tyler Roberts has sealed a permanent exit with Birmingham snapping him up for just £500,000.

The Welshman played 108 times for Leeds and spent last season on loan at QPR.

Leeds supporters have slammed the club’s transfer business, one said: “An absolute disgrace.”

Another reacted: “Dreadful business.”

Others reacted more positively believing the loan moves could see the players increase their value should they perform well or return to Leeds should they get promoted under new boss Daniel Farke.

More stars could leave amid rumours about Jack Harrison, Wilfried Gnonto and Tyler Adams being wanted by a host of Prem sides.
