LEICESTER’S Champions League qualification hopes suffered a major blow after a shock 4-2 defeat at home to Newcastle United.

First-half goals from Joe Willock and Paul Dummett stunned the Foxes before Callum Wilson netted twice after the break to sink the hosts.

Marc Albrighton and Kelechi Iheanacho scored late goals for Leicester but it was too late to avoid a damaging defeat.

The result leaves the Foxes looking over their shoulders and opened the door for Tottenham, Liverpool and West Ham to claim a top-four finish.
