Arsenal stormed into the lead inside just four minutes into the clash at Anfield.

Gabriel Magalhães headed past Alisson and after a VAR check, the goal was given.

Liverpool went in search of an equaliser but were denied a penalty after Martin Odegaard’s apparent handball.

However, they did get level in the 29th minute as Mohamed Salah latched on to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s through ball to fire past David Raya.

Liverpool started the second half better and went close on a number of occasions.

Alexander-Arnold spurned a brilliant chance to win the game in the 72nd minute as he rattled the crossbar.

Neither side were able to find the winner, as they had to settle for a draw.
