ARSENAL and Liverpool had to settle for a point apiece as they battled to a 1-1 draw.
The Gunners were hoping to end their 11-year wait for a win at Anfield, while Liverpool were aiming to climb to the summit of the Premier League.

Gabriel Magalhães headed past Alisson and after a VAR check, the goal was given.
Liverpool went in search of an equaliser but were denied a penalty after Martin Odegaard’s apparent handball.
However, they did get level in the 29th minute as Mohamed Salah latched on to Trent Alexander-Arnold’s through ball to fire past David Raya.
Liverpool started the second half better and went close on a number of occasions.
Alexander-Arnold spurned a brilliant chance to win the game in the 72nd minute as he rattled the crossbar.
Neither side were able to find the winner, as they had to settle for a draw.
