She is a four-time former U.S. National Team Member, and qualified to represent the Asian country at the 2024 Summer Olympics through the 2024 FIG World Cup series.
In a TikTok video, she gave sports fans a behind-the-scenes look at what it’s like in the Olympic Village grocery store.
“I feel like the Olympic Village is like going to college. Lol. Thanks for sharing this… it’s something I didn’t think of!” a viewer commented.
“I was saying that when I first arrived. It feels like the most amazing campus/Disneyland haha,” she replied.
QUICK TRIP
Levi admitted at the start of the video that she went in because she was missing a few important items.
The gymnastics champion didn’t have soap in her room and decided to drop by the store.
There were aspects of the facility that were familiar to her as well as unique features that gave off a global aesthetic.
She walked in through the front door and panned around to show the “cute” store that had “everything” she needed.
Eventually, she made her way to the “toiletry area” that contained soaps, conditioner, shampoo, and cleaning essentials.
While there, she picked up a hair comb to slick back her locks into a tight bun for competition.
At the end of the video, she added that there was a check-out process and the items weren’t free.
PRIME PICKS
There were themed cups, bags, tumblers, and water jugs close to the entrance with a rack of footlong baguettes right next to it.
“Obviously, they got some nice fun Paris 2024 gear,” she said.
“Love the French baguettes,” a TikTok user commented.
Like a typical grocery store similar to Trader Joe’s, there were free flowers, food and vegetables, cold sandwiches, and frozen meals.
“Everything that you could possibly imagine,” she said as she walked through the aisles.
There were several aisles filled with snacks from other regions to make Olympians feel more at home and tasty French treats.
“It’s so interesting to see the different types of foods in different countries,” she said.
She added in the caption that the entire experience was “unreal.”
The layout was also cool to her because it looked like a track and field around the entire grocery store.
REAL REACTIONS
Eager sports lovers shared their thoughts in the comment section.
“Why did I think all of this was free,” a TikTok user wrote.
Levi simply replied that she wished it was, but the dining halls were free of charge.
“I appreciate the athletes showing us behind the scenes. This is great,” another commented.
“I love the track on the floor. Any other sports snuck in the decor?” a woman asked.
