This is partly down to the chaos surrounding Kylian Mbappe’s futureRex

Mbappe’s future has been up in the air since it was announced that he would not renew his contract at PSG.

This has seen the club try to sell this summer in order not to lose him for free in a year’s time.

The forward is currently exiled from the team while his future is sorted out while the club’s sporting director Luis Campos is also being linked with a move through the exit door.

To make matters worse for Enrique, Marca also suggests that his right-hand man Rafel Pol is also considering his position at the club.

As a result, the outlet has claimed that the situation is causing “short trigger” Enrique to become uncomfortable and annoyed which could lead to him walking away from the job.

However, PSG have come out and denied these reports and labelled them as “complete nonsense”.

A spokesman told Fabrizio Romano: “Today’s rumors are as ridiculous as they are completely out of place.”

Enrique was only hired earlier this summer after the club sacked manager Christophe Galtier just days after winning the Ligue 1 title.

Galtier has since been in police custody over racist remarks from his time at Nice, as per Le Parisien.

Enrique joined PSG after spending four years as the coach of Spain following a successful three-year stint at Barcelona.

During this time he won two LaLiga titles, one Champions League title and three Copa del Rey titles along with other awards.

Mbappe meanwhile has recently pocketed £35million from PSG as part of a loyalty bonus.

He was left out of PSG’s tour of Japan and Korea, with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi urging him to listen to offers.

The 2018 World Cup winner rejected a staggering £11.6m a week offer from Saudi side Al-Hilal – after they had a world-record £259m bid accepted by PSG.

PSG chiefs believe that Mbappe has already agreed to join Real Madrid at the end of the season, and that he could even sit out of the entire campaign in order to get his desired move.

They reckon that another reason for Mbappe’s desire to stay for the final year of his contract is that he would be entitled to a bonus worth around £70m.

He has also been linked with Chelsea and Liverpool in the Premier League.
