LUKE HUMPHRIES couldn’t resist reacting when a rowdy Ally Pally crowd booed his stage walk ahead of the Darts World Championship final with Luke Littler.

The world No1 showed he was up for the cupp-ing as he put his hands to his ears.

In response, 16-year-old Littler smiled and focused on warming up.

Amazingly, Luke the Nuke strode out as the bookies’ favourite to win the title.

He was the youngest player ever to reach the last 16 – let alone go this far.

And Humphries appeared to take the crowd’s preference for Littler in good heart.

He turned to clap all parts of the audience – but also cupped his ears.

Viewers seemed to appreciate the build-up, one posting: “Luke Humphries in the spotlight! Let’s see what he’s got in store for us tonight!”

And as the frenzied atmosphere grew, another darts lover wrote: “Might be too much for The Nuke this!”
