LUKE LITTLER is still getting used to his crazy new life after his meteoric rise.

The 17-year-old admitted he asked for 20 WEEKS off following his World Championship run and is adjusting to his hectic schedule.

Littler is a household name these days after he made it all the way to the World Championship final at just 16 years old.

But with the flashing cameras, glamorous darts tournaments and international travel comes a sacrifice – not being able to do what teenagers would normally do.

Littler will begin his Premier League campaign this week with the competition getting underway in Cardiff on Thursday.

And after flying to Holland for the Dutch Masters and the Middle East for the Bahrain Masters, Littler has admitted that the schedule is the biggest change in his life at the moment.

He said: “Just the amount of days I have got off to chill. That’s the main part [that is different].”

The teen sensation admitted that he felt like needed a rest after the World Championship.

He explained: “When I went to the airport for Bahrain, I said to my mum: ‘I just want 10-20 weeks off please!’

“But the schedule is just crazy, I know when I do get a day or two off, I will make the most of it.”

He joins seven other darts superstars to start the Premier League this week[/caption]

And when those rare days do come around the Nuke won’t be spending much time practising on the dart board, but will rather be relaxing with some video games.

He added: “I don’t really want to practise at home. Once I get a day off, I don’t want to spend hours and hours on the board. I spend hours and hours on my Xbox instead.”

In fact when faced with the press ahead of the Premier League’s return this week, Littler admitted that it’s a far cry from what he would usually be doing at 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.

He said: “[I’d] probably still [be] asleep. Then I’d wake up and watch the Premier League and go to bed.”

The sacrifice of his long lie-ins will instead be substituted with adoring fans watching on has he lights up the oche.

And perhaps he won’t be too upset at giving up time on his Xbox when it means he gets to swap playing as his Manchester United heroes on Fifa for meeting them in real life.

Littler was invited down to the Red Devils’ Carrington training ground and met a whole host of the players and staff.

The youngster even had a chance to go head to head with Harry Maguire in a darts battle.

And he admitted that meeting his idols was more nerve-wracking than facing off against Luke Humphries in the World Championship final earlier this month.
