Luke Littler ‘accepts’ Romeo Beckham challenge after son of Man Utd legend David calls out darts sensation

LUKE LITTLER has accepted Romeo Beckham’s challenge to face off in a game of darts.

Littler, 17, has rapidly become the biggest name in the sport after reaching the final of the world championship in his debut appearance.

He ended up losing to Luke Humphries, but has continued to build on his incredible momentum with weekly appearances in the Premier League.

And, one week on from claiming his first nightly Premier League victory, he has now seemingly agreed to face Romeo, 21, the son of Manchester United legend David Beckham.

Red Devils fan Littler received the request on Instagram after Romeo, who plays for Brentford B, shared pictures of him practising.

He posted one image of him throwing a dart and another of him pulling them off the board.

And he added the caption: “@lukethenukelittler fancy a challenge? ”

In response, Littler simply replied with an eyes emoji, which many fans are taking to mean he has accepted the call-out.

One social media user said: “@lukethenukelittler yes go on .”

While another added: “@lukethenukelittler light work this for you g .”

Littler is gearing up for Week 10 of the Premier League in Manchester on Thursday evening.

It promises to be a partisan crowd for the teenager – who was born in Warrington.

And if Littler was to make it back-to-back nightly victories, he could go top of the Premier League standings if Luke Humphries loses his quarter-final against Michael Smith.

Meanwhile, Romeo was recently pictured with England star Jude Bellingham as social media reacted to the unlikely link-up.

He has also been enjoying a blossoming bromance with F1 driver Lando Norris.

They have been to football games together, and last December were snapped at Tottenham’s 2-1 win over Everton.

Romeo recently split from long-term girlfriend Mia Regan last month after a five-year relationship.
