The Nuke shared a snap on his social media of his fancy plane seat with a huge onboard TV screen as he headed out to Sakhir.

The 16-year-old sensation shared the picture with the caption: “Off to Bahrain for the first world series of the year.”

It’ll be the first time Littler has returned to the board to throw a professional dart since his heartbreaking loss to Luke Humphries at Ally Pally.

He will join Humphries, Michael van Gerwen, Gerwyn Price, Michael Smith and others in the January 18-19 event, which pits eight PDC superstars against eight representatives from Asia.

Littler is also set to feature in the 16-player Dutch Darts Masters in Maaspoort Den Bosch later this month.

Away from the Oche, the Warrington lad has been on a whirlwind ride since the end of the World Championships.

The teen fulfilled a childhood dream when he was invited to be a guest of honour at Old Trafford by Manchester United.

Littler watched on as the Red Devils played out a 2-2 draw with Tottenham and even had the privilege of meeting Sir Alex Ferguson while at the stadium.

The darts star – who only left school last summer – is a lifelong Man Utd fan and has spoken about his love for the club before.

Littler also met Wayne Rooney while watching on from the stands during the Premier League clash.

And it’s not the first time he’s rubbed shoulders with football superstars after he met both Aaron Ramsdale and Declan Rice during his run of form in the Worlds.

As well as receiving a good luck message from David Beckham before the final.
