RICARDO PIETRECZKO has finally apologised to Luke Littler after their on stage bust-up.

The 17-year-old sensation was squared up to by the German in a fiery clash at the Belgian Darts Open.

Luke Littler claim to blows with Ricardo Pietreczko

Pietreczko, who is nicknamed “Pikachu”, came close to clashing heads with Littler and later labelled him as “arrogant”.

Luke the Nuke hit back, saying: “No idea what I did wrong, no idea what he said. He said something then don’t do it again.”

It was later revealed that red mist had descended on the 29-year-old after Littler pulled off a fancy checkout.

Pietreczko has now apologised via social media, writing: “Hi fans, I wanted to apologise for my behaviour on stage in Wieze.

“I was really proud of reaching the semi-finals but got a little bit too emotional and overreacted in the game.

“Sorry Luke Littler and big respect for what you achieved.

“And usually I am also a fan of fancy checkouts.

“Looking forward to the Pro Tours in Germany next week. Thanks for your support.”

Littler angered his rival when he required 147 and for the showbiz route of treble 19, tops and a bullseye.

It’s known as the “Peter Manley” as the former Premier League star used to love that outrageous finish.

The PDC confirmed earlier this week that Pietreczko will avoid punishment for his on-stage aggression and he won’t be referred to the Darts Regulation Authority.

Although the hothead has a history of losing his temper after previously causing controversy against Beau Greaves last year.

Pietreczko cupped his ears towards supporters and was then booed by fans during his Grand Slam of Darts defeat.
