His opponent, Aspinall, couldn’t help but smile at the impressive feat before shaking Littler‘s hand.
The teenager’s stunning checkout also left the Sky Sports commentary team gobsmacked.
Wayne Mardle even started “bouncing around like Tigger” midway through the match.
Co-commentator Rod Studd said: “A showstopping finish!
“Well the Nuke detonates on the big stage in Belfast with that exquisite 125 showpiece finish.
“Bull – 25 – bull. That was a showstopper Wayne, you enjoyed that, didn’t you? Almost as much as he did!
“You started bouncing around like Tigger in the commentary box.”

After the match, Littler revealed he had slightly changed his approach to the oche.
The 17-year-old told Sky Sports: “I’m happy to win, it’s my first one.
“But as people may have seen, I’ve changed my throw to just take that little bit of extra time and then release the next two [darts].
“I’ve put more practice in, and it’s paid off.”
