Schindler came into the game with his confidence high after shocking Gerwyn Price in the previous round.

And he continued from where he left off as he raced into an early lead.

Schindler went toe-to-toe with Littler for much of the clash before Luke the Nuke pulled away.

The Wall then missed a dart at bull to level the game at 6-6.

His mistake was then punished as Littler won the leg to move 7-5 ahead as he managed to land a bullseye.

The teenage sensation averaged 101.86 in the win.

Littler beat James Wade 10-7 in the previous round.

And the cult hero’s reaction after Littler landed a big fish had fans in hysterics.

He will take to the oche again for his last 16 tie in the evening session, which begins tonight at 7pm.

Action from the quarter-final onwards at Minehead takes place tomorrow.

The draw has already opened up after Michael van Gerwen suffered a shock defeat to Mensur Suljovic.
