Luke Littler makes major debut alongside Sidemen charity match stars but gets ridiculed for missing sitter

LUKE LITTLER has proven he is not just a dab hand at darts, after starring alongside Sidemen charity match stars on EA Sports FC.

The Nuke has been making a name for himself after a sensational run to the darts world championship finals in January before winning the Bahrain Masters and claiming victory in the Premier League’s Belfast leg.

However, the 17-year-old remains a huge fan of gaming, having openly spoke about his love for the FIFA video game series – now known as EA Sports FC.

Littler has opened “FIFA packs” during his walk-ons, and he recently completed a virtual transfer to the crudely-named Pro Clubs team Girth N’ Turf FC.

The game mode allows players to create their own “Pro” who is then controlled by the player in online matches, with the team Littler joined being full of prominent social media stars.

Littler was thrown into the lineup as a striker alongside Soccer Aid star Yung Filly, with other big names in the team including Sidemen charity match stars such as AngryGinge, PieFace and Mark Goldbridge.

However, he did not cover himself in glory on his debut for the team after racing through on goal for a one on one but hitting the post.

He was playfully ridiculed for the miss, with club manager and fellow Man Utd fan Ginge laughing and calling the shot “absolutely f***ing s****”.

Fortunately, Littler’s strike partner Yung Filly was on hand to score and earn a 1-0 win.

Littler made up for the miss by later netting two goals and two assists on route to promotion from Division 3.

The 17-year-old was walked away with the “Man of the Session” award after getting more than 3,300 votes on a fan poll.

Days later – with additions such as Sidemen star Bezhinga and Brit Awards winning rapper Aitch – Littler starred once again as the club were promoted to the top tier as champions of Division 2.

The promotion stream was watched by an average of 35,000 fans and peaked at 43,000 during the final game.

Littler’s love for the video games series even led to claims he had met girlfriend Eloise while playing it.

However, Littler said those suggestions were false before revealing: “We met on the development tour in Leicester in August but became friends at the last [tournament] in Milton Keynes.”

Speaking to JOE, Littler had also revealed in February that he had splashed “about £500” on the games Team of the Year promotion.

The club Littler stars for announced the arrival of Cristiano Ronaldo super fan IShowSpeed on a five-game trial earlier today as they attempt to conquer Division 1.

Littler was not involved as he prepares for his Manchester homecoming in the darts Premier League.

That signing comes despite Speed and Ginge having a coming together during the Sidemen charity match last September, though the pair have clearly squashed any beef they had.
