But he amazed one lucky supporter before even throwing his first dart of the night.

That is because during his walkout, Littler soaked up the love of the crowd.

Then one gamer held out his phone to the youngster.

But rather than posing for a selfie, the bloke – decked out in a dart board fancy dress costume – revealed his FIFA game on the phone.

And it was all ready for a pack to be opened… with Littler duly obliging to his supporter’s delight – and viewers watching on at home.

One said: “What a fella haha.”

Another wrote: “Casually opening packs while walking out is the ultimate multitasking!”

A third added: “As if Littler has just opened a FIFA pack for someone on their phone.”

The PDC World Darts runner-up famously loves to play on his Xbox and spent £500 of his £200,000 Ally Pally prize money on packs with very little joy.

Littler delighted followers when he did a livestream with his girlfriend just days after propelling himself into the public spotlight.

And even being at tournaments does not stop him getting his FC 24 fix.

Littler has regularly been pictured by his fellow stars preparing for matches on stage simply playing on his screen.

So much so that ahead of their Newcastle showdown, Wright joked he was going to steal laidback Littler’s phone to disrupt his pre-match plans.

The Nuke has delivered the goods at the oche since bursting on to the scene over New Year.

And he escaped an almighty scare against struggling Wright, despite leading both 2-0 and 4-2 – including a superb 170 Big Fish checkout that promoted a brilliant reeling celebration.

Wright fought back in style, though, and even had the chance to secure the victory with a double eight at 5-5.

His miss allowed Little the chance to close out the win and he duly did so, setting up a semi-final with Michael van Gerwen.
