Littler shot to fame at the PDC World Darts Championship as he reached the final on debut at Alexandra Palace.

His fairytale run saw him win £200,000 in prize money, reach No32 in the world rankings and earn a spot in the Premier League.

The teenage sensation has now taken the opportunity to thank his fans for their support.

In a post on X, formerly Twitter, Littler wrote: “Just want to say thank you to everyone for the support.

“I’m not ignorant in any way. My life has changed significantly the last few weeks and it’s just not possible to reply to everyone.

“I’m just a young kid that’s living a dream and hope I’ve inspired many more for the future.”

Since losing to Luke Humphries in the final at Ally Pally, Littler has surpassed one million followers on Instagram.

He also met Wayne Rooney as he fulfilled a childhood dream by visiting Old Trafford for Manchester United’s clash with Tottenham on Sunday.

He is one of eight PDC representatives at the event and travelled to Bahrain in style this week.

The youngster will also be part of the field at the Dutch Masters in Den Bosch on January 26 and 27 before the Premier League starts.

Littler joins Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Gerwyn Price in the line-up for the 17-week event.

The 2024 Premier League begins in Cardiff on February 1 and ends with the play-offs at the O2 Arena in London on May 23.
