LUKE LITTLER saw the funny side after firing a wayward dart off target in the Premier League.
The Nuke picked up his first nightly win in Belfast on Thursday by seeing off Luke Humphries, Michael van Gerwen and Nathan Aspinall.
However, he did not have things all his own way in the final against the Asp.
During the third leg, the teenage sensation showed he was still human whilst attempting to check out 131.
He pinned triple 17 as he looked to move 2-1 in front before switching to double 20.
However, his attempt at tops landed way above the target to the shock of the crowd at the SSE Arena.
Littler himself was left bemused as a he leaned in to see how far away he was.
The 17-year-old then turned to the crowd and put his hand on his head as if he was searching for the dart.
His reaction left fans in hysterics on social media, with one writing: “I can very much relate to this.”
Another added: “A dart into the proverbial Row Z from Littler as he went for tops there…”

Despite the miss, Littler went on to win 6-4 with an average of 99.44.

The win also sees Littler rocket up the standings and into second place behind world champion Humphries.
He could even overtake him in Manchester next week with another night win.
