DARTS sensation Luke Littler has been tipped to have his own “Tiger Woods moment” by raking in £10,000 per NIGHT.

The 16-year-old prodigy is one win away from becoming king of the oche on his World Darts Championship debut.

Littler overcame a sticky start to KO former champion Rob Cross in last night’s semi-final.

And tonight he plays for £500,000 against namesake Luke Humphries.

But regardless of the outcome, experts reckon Littler has already established himself as the breakout star of 2024.

With his whole career ahead of him, it’s believed Littler can dominate darts just like Woods dominated golf from an early age.

Indeed, he’s already secured himself £200k-worth of prize money.

And brand guru Nick Ede reckons Littler will become a millionaire before the end of January.

Speaking before Littler’s win over Cross, he told the Mail: “Luke Littler is the unlikely first hero of 2024. He is on course to make a minimum of 100k this week and if he gets to the final of the World Darts Championship he will earn double that and some.

“It’s Luke’s year and I can see him getting endorsements out of the game and into the mainstream public consciousness. If anyone can break the darts mould it’s Luke, and all eyes will be on him.”

Meanwhile, boxing promoter Barry Hearn feels Littler can emulate Woods by bagging himself £10k-per-night with exhibition work.

He told the Telegraph: “This is a Boris Becker moment, this is a Tiger Woods moment.

“’He’s clearly got a lot going for him, his parents and the group around him are very supportive. Now they mustn’t just look at the money because that will come automatically if you are good enough.

“There’s a tremendous number of great players coming through because they smell the money. Top of the tree darts players are probably earning £2 to £2.5million a year. The biggest job for him will be to actually control his diary.

“With him it’s a question of drip-feeding his notoriety. If I was managing him I’d put his fee up to an astronomical number and then, by the laws of supply and demand, that will cut down the possibility of him being burnt out.

“You compare it to [tennis player Emma] Raducanu. I wouldn’t be cruel and call it a flash in the pan but that [Raducanu’s 2021 US Open victory] is a one-off that hasn’t been followed up.

“She’s still a good player – there’s something missing there, injuries whatever. This kid [Littler], you think, could be the face of darts for the next 25 years.”
