LUKE LITTLER and Michael van Gerwen are eyeing up a fortune as well as the treble 20 in World Championship final.

Littler has the chance to go one further than he did last year when he burst onto the scene and eventually lost the final to Luke Humphries.

That earned him £200,000 and since then, the 17-year-old has made a habit of pocketing huge sums of money.

In the last 12 months, Littler has won £1,028,500 in prize money.

This does not include lucrative sponsorship deals with Microsoft and Boohoo.

An incredible £633,500 comes from ranking events and his victories at the invitational Premier League and World Series of Darts banked him the other £395,000.

Littler has not spent his winnings on flash jewellery or cars, instead treating his family to fancy new house.

His plush new five-bedroom pad is reportedly worth £6,000-a-month and is on a street dubbed “Millionaires Row” in Warrington.

It boasts a swimming pool, large garden and six bathrooms.

Quite an upgrade from the £180,000 two-bed semi he grew up in.

Littler also took his family, including ex-girlfriend Eloise Milburn, to the US in the summer on holiday.

The Nuke’s rise has triggered a darts boom and he is now a household name.

His remarkable rise has seen him be on the front cover of Forbes magazine and make TV appearances on the Jonathan Ross Show, Bullseye and when he came second in the BBC Sports Personality of the Year award.

Littler is a boyhood Manchester United fan and he has been given the VIP treatment by the club.

From mingling with Sir Alex Ferguson, posing with Bruno Fernandes and throwing darts with Harry Maguire and Mason Mount, the teen star has done it all.

Other England stars like Declan Rice and James Maddison have got in on the act with him.

Littler has also been taken for a spin by F1 star Lando Norris.

As for Van Gerwen, he has been at the top of the game for over a decade.

The 35-year-old is worth a reported £7million thanks to his three world titles.

MVG enjoys a life of luxury and has splashed his earnings on designer suits from Tom Ford and Brioni that can cost up to £4,500.

He also boasts an eye-catching watch collection, with Rolex Submariner and Daytona models worth over £10,000 each among them.

Van Gerwen’s garage is just as dazzling, having been seen in a £250,000 Rolls-Royce Ghost and a BMW X6 M50i, that can cost £80,000.

He lives in his homeland of Holland in a £1m mansion with his wife of ten years Daphne, daughter Zoe and son Mike.

They love a family holiday, sharing snaps on social media of them enjoying Ibiza, Disneyland Paris and Dubai.

Earlier this year, Daphne joined her husband for a romantic getaway in Prague before the Czech Darts Open.

And there could be more cars, watches and holidays in store if he can defeat Littler tonight.
