LUTON knew they would be facing a fight to get out of the Championship – but keeper Thomas Kaminski may have got too fired up.

The Belgian was booked for time-wasting after just 29 minutes.

And if Hatters chief Rob Edwards was annoyed by that, what happened two minutes later will have left him reeling.

Kaminski charged out of goal and absolutely clattered TWO Portsmouth players in separate challenges.

Viewers rushed to social media to share their takes after Paddy Lane and Connor Ogilvie were left on the deck.

One wrote: “Luton’s Keeper sent off after killing not one but two players is incredible viewing.”

A second added: “football is well and truly back.”

A third joked: “The first one is manslaughter. The second one is definitely murder.”

Another said: “Put some Street Fighter 2 music to this.”

“Never a foul games gone,” added a fifth, presumably sarcastically.

Striker Carlton Morris was sacrificed so James William Shea could take over between the sticks and keep a clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.

Luton captain Tom Lockyear has returned to training eight months after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

The Wales ace collapsed on the pitch during the Premier League clash against Bournemouth in December.

Lockyer, 29, admitted that he “literally died” after his heart stopped for two minutes and 40 seconds on the pitch.

The defender also collapsed during the Championship play-off final against Coventry last May.

For the past few months he has been undergoing rehab with heart specialists in Amsterdam with the aim of returning to action.
