MANCHESTER UNITED are monitoring the transfer situation around Florian Wirtz, reports suggest.

The German wonderkid has captured the attention of Europe’s elite footballing institutions including Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.

Florian Wirtz is being tracked by Man Utd scoutsRex

However, the Bayer Leverkusen star is also being tracked by the Red Devils, according to Sky Sports in Germany.

The report suggests the club’s scouting team have cast an eye on the 20-year-old.

There is said to have been no contact with the player’s family or any sort of offer made.

The report suggests Wirtz is top of Bayern Munich’s transfer wish list.

However, they do not currently possess the financial muscle to complete a move.

Wirtz has been estimated at a cool price of £104million.

He has scored six goals and added ten assists already this season.

Man Utd are reportedly eyeing four signings in January.
