MANCHESTER UNITED fans have been left fuming after being denied a penalty against Tottenham.
The Red Devils welcomed Spurs to Old Trafford for the Premier League clash as Sir Jim Ratcliffe watched on for the first time.
Alejandro Garnacho went down in the box under pressure from Destiny Udogie.
The Argentine appeared to be held by the Spurs defender as he dropped to the floor.
United fans were left seething as they claimed that it was an “obvious” foul by the Italian defender.
One fan slammed: “Clear pen.”
A second wrote: “The most obvious foul you could ever see.”
A third posted: “That should be a penalty.”
Another commented: “It’s a clear penalty.”

It was the first time Ratcliffe had watched United at Old Trafford since completing the partial take-over of the club.
He wasn’t the only big name in attendance as club legend Wayne Rooney and darts sensation Luke Littler.
United ended the first half 2-1 ahead thanks to goals from Rasmus Hojlund and Marcus Rashford, while Richarlison netted for Spurs.
But Rodrigo Bentancur levelled within two minutes of the second half starting… before Erik ten Hag had even taken his seat.
